Our Wedding Annoucement

Ryan-Hunter Wedding

Jessica Delane Hunter and Benjamin Johnson Ryan, both of Lexington, were married May 22, 2005, at Lexington Presbyterian Church. The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. David Sinclair. A reception followed in Tomlin Hall.
The bride, daughter of Ms. Elizabeth Delane Hite and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Maurice Hunter, both of Lexington, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Lane Hite Sr. of West Columbia, Mr. and Mrs. Thornwell Maurice Hunter of Pageland, and Mr. and Mrs. Addison Byers Shirley of Honea Path. She is a graduate of Lexington High School and Clemson University. She will be teaching science at White Knoll High School.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Ryan Jr. of Lexington, is the grandson of Mrs. Martha Smith Johnson, the late Hubert Clifton Johnson of Edgefield, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Ryan of Trenton. He is a graduate of Lexington High School and Clemson University. He is a sales agent with the South Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Companies in Lexington.
Maid of honor was Miss Ashley Elizabeth Hunter, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Miss Rebecca Leigh Vaughn, sister of the bride. Attendants were Mrs. Christa Ryan Gibbs, sister of the groom, Mrs. Kelli Elizabeth Ingram, Miss Stephanie Lynn Kerr, Mrs. Jennifer Hite Patterson, Miss Stephanie Layne Simpson and Miss Carrie Allison Turner. Flower girl was Miss Hannah Rose Corley.
Best man was Mr. Thomas Henry Ryan Jr., father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. William Arnold Clarke Jr., Mr. Michael Todd Kirkland, Mr. Andrew Addison Mathias, Mr. Adam Spaugh Neely, and Mr. Jeremy Luther Ryan, Master Jonathan Andrew Ryan, and Mr. Thomas Henry Ryan III, all brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Master Austin Franklin Corley.
After a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Lexington.
